About The Event

Hector Castillo (Mr Castle) is an up-and-coming Blues-Rock guitar player, singer and music producer  from Caracas, Venezuela.

Mr Castle delivers a unique Blues-Rock sentiment having a very distinctive Latin flavor in his playing. This will drive the listener into what can be defined as, an uplifting experience.

Hector has been in Ireland nine years and has had the opportunity to record in his studio along with Ed Deane (Irish Blues Living Legend) an EP called “At a Station”. The EP was ‘Radio Nova and Hot Press’ band of the Week. Hector has also shared or been on stage with Pat McManus, Mick Pyro, Pat Farrel, Jim Finn, Left, Right and Centre (Ed Deane, Noel Bridgeman, Tommy Moore), among many others.

In 2017 Hector Co-founded The Catfish Blues Orchestra/The Irish Santana Experience, a nine-piece Blues big band, which had immense success playing at the majority of the most prestigious Blues festivals in Ireland and UK.

At present Hector, alongside his 3 and 4 piece band and under the stage name of ‘Mr Castle’, is touring all over Ireland, U.K and Lithuania, bringing a high octane show with plenty of Latin Blues Rock vibes. With three single releases (Debut single “Opportunity To Live” featured as Hot Press’ Track of the day),  Mr Castle has been running up the scene, rising in the Blues-Rock music industry and continuing to make a name by himself.
