The Mafia Cats

The Mafia Cats are based in Cork city. They are a hard-working three-piece band always in search of the next gig, whether it be festivals, corporate event, private party or pub gigs. Their music is a mixture of rootsy rock'a'billy originals and quirky covers, leaning toward bluegrass & jazz. To give you some idea of what they are about, here are some examples of who the band pay homage to: Amos Milburn, Ray Collins Hot-Club, Glen Glenn, The Gutter brothers, Stray cats, & Paul Kelly to name but a few!

Pat is loaded with big bodied guitars and a vocal to match. Dave stomps the double bass with energetic finesse and Karl scratches the kit with brush and stick.
