Pilgrimage Presents is an event that showcases live Blues and Jazz. Two music genres that are beloved by Ricky Grogan and Ben Cronin, founders of this unique local event.
When they met and discussed promoting live gigs in the spring of 2021, they agreed to deliver top-quality acts in a unique venue located at The Vic, Tramore, Co. Waterford.
Ricky and Ben aim to bring the best of Waterford’s local musicians to the stage, both established and upcoming. They’ll also bring acts from further afield.
The Vic is a unique spot with a genuine character. It overlooks the stunning vista of Tramore Bay. As Nina Simone said, it’s a place where you can’t help but feel good. Check out the vibe yourself in our Gallery.

Take your seat while you await your drink to be served (make mine a Waterford Whisky please!) and take in your surroundings. Sit back, relax and enjoy the music. Don’t be shy, you are in the company of many like-minded music lovers including a few who may just surprise you and be part of the show.
So, from here on fall into the wonder world of great live music as this is your destination ‘cause remember BB King reminded us “Tomorrow Is Another Day”!

Ironically Blues originated from similar fields as Charlie Pride told us “Down in the delta where I was born. All we raised was cotton, potatoes and corn. I’ve picked cotton ’til my fingers hurt. Draggin’ a sack through the delta dirt. I’ve worked hard the whole weeklong”.
